Registration is open now for a private Art Summer Camp 2019. The offered schedule is from the 1st to the 26th of July in a total of 4 week blocks. Each block fee is $220 per person. All art and crafts materials are included. There is also a part-time option available, please contact Art Studio Guelph for details.
Day Schedule:
Monday: Arrival as early as 7:30 am, crafts until (project will be provided) 10:00 am, morning snack, thin air painting (watercolour landscape), 12:30 pm lunch, then, a walk to a local park for an hour or two play time, 4 pm afternoon snack, then art (touch up of the landscape from morning or new project), pick up by 5:30 pm.
Tuesday: Arrival as early as 7:30 am, field trip (as per options presented at the end of the article) departure 9 am, picnic style morning snack, thin air sketching of nature or a portrait, 12:30 pm return for lunch, transition of morning sketch to the canvas – painting with acrylic paint, 4 pm afternoon snack, free time, pick up by 5:30 pm.
Wednesday: Arrival as early as 7:30 am, sewing session (hand sewing basics and sewing machine basics) 10:00 am, morning snack, second session of sewing, 12:30 pm lunch, sprinkler play in the back yard, 4 pm afternoon snack, small painting project – fruit composition (acrylics), pick up by 5:30 pm.
Thursday: Arrival as early as 7:30 am, oil pastel technique (flowers in a vase project) 10:00 am, morning snack, sketch a portrait – basics, 12:30 pm lunch,
Friday: Arrival as early as 7:30 am, crafts until 10:00 am (project will be provided), morning snack, paint a T-shirt project, 12:30 pm lunch, movie afternoon (movie as per children’s choice), 4 pm afternoon snack, “Summer postcard” project, pick up by 5:30 pm.
During hot weather weeks, we may switch morning activities with before or after lunch activities to avoid extensive exposure to the sun during the hottest time of the day. The projects may change, subject to children’s interests and artistic abilities.

Field trips list:
The trips will be signed to particular weeks as per children’s voting, so below order doesn’t reflect the order of calendar weeks, also during very hot days, trip to indoor facilities will be recommended. Any additional fees for entry will be applicable on top of the weekly fee.

This art summer camp is organized by the licensed daycare and tax receipt will be provided accordingly.
