Dear Parents and Guardians,
In order to serve you better and provide a safe learning environment for your children I have prepared a list of rules to follow, so we can all enjoy an uninterrupted art season and minimal risk of spread of Covid-19.
We have revised a number of art class participants from 8 to 4 per art class during this pandemic. This allows us to make sure that children will sit 6 feet apart from each other. Document registration had to be completed before the art classes start, please call to book your appointment. This way, we will avoid crowding in the hallway to complete forms when the classes begin.
Each child and art class tutor must have a temperature check the day of art class and be monitored for Covid-19 symptoms.
Children will be allowed in to the art studio if they are not having any symptoms of being sick or unwell. We appeal to parents to be couscous and care for health of our small art community, so if there is a chance that your child could have been in contact with somebody sick or they have flu like symptoms, please keep them at home.
In case if tutor or any other person entering Art Studio Guelph premises will develop Covid-19 symptoms, all art class participants will be notified and classes will be suspended until symptoms will clear and thorough cleaning is completed.
Parents should remain in the cars while dropping off children. Tutor will be waiting for your kids at the door. Also, children will leave art studio sharp on time, so please remain at your car while waiting to pick them up. If it is necessary for parent or guardian to enter the premises he/she must wear a mask and use hand sanitizer upon entry.
Each child will have to use alcohol based hand sanitizer (70%) at the entrance to the art studio.
Each child have to wear a face mask for the duration of art class. If child will arrive without a mask or other face covering he/she will be provided with sanitized fabric face mask for the duration of the class.
At this time please don’t bring any snacks to the art studio, only water bottle will be allowed and I will explain children how to handle face masks to avoid contamination.
Art supplies will be limited in use to those which are necessary for the class only and all of them will be sanitized as well as tables and chairs.
Children will be permitted to have a face mask break for a short period of time and they are going to be asked to remain at the front porch during the break.
Children will be asked to use hand sanitizer again upon return from the mask break.
Each child will use hand sanitizer when exiting the art studio.
We will not be able to accommodate any make up classes during pandemic and limited art studio space.
If you have any other suggestions in this matter please let me know.
