It is time to summarize and close this year’s Earth DayArt Contest. It was my pleasure hosting it and getting to know a few new wonderful artists who took their time and prepared amazing artworks. on the 26th of April in the evening, we had a small reception and handed out the awards. Unfortunately, the winner of our 1st place was not able to attend but she is going to start her art season in May, so we are all really excited about it. Also, due to the small number of participates, Art Studio Guelph decided to reward all of the children who took a part in the Art Contest. Those smaller pouches you can see at the table in the video below are made of canvas and contain a sketch pad, a pencil, an eraser, a paper blender stick, and some watercolour pencil crayons to try out. Those are a part of Art Studio Guelph merchandise from now on.

I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to the families and friends who attended our reception and supported all the other artists.

Thank you to our judges who took their time to volunteer in the event and also attended the reception. We hope you will be able to support a similar event in the future.

Stay tuned for the next year Art Contest. We will change the subject and hopefully hit the target number of submissions in order to organize the reception in a bigger space. Never than less I call Earth Day Art Contest a big success.
